My New Year Bash Experience!!!!!

Wish You a Happy & Prosperous NewYear 2010. I want to share my different experience what happened to me on Jan 1st 2010. My friend Nitin Shetty(Commonly Known as Smarty) had planned a new year celebration on his house {Bcoz his bro was not there:P} and later going to Coorg. He told all of us(Umesh, Deepak, Reddy, Amrit, Ganesh, Bharat & Winay) to reach home around 8 p.m on Dec 31st 2009 for celebration and around 3 am Jan 1st 2010 for the trip. I had to travel all the way from Marathalli to Vijaynagar almost like 40 Km i think not sure about it. It was raining very badly so I couldn't reach his place as planned. So i told Nithin to pick me from Marathalli, they agreed for that. Later I had a nap I was unable to get up i dont know all of sudden i got up and a saw my cell some 50 missed call from Nithin & Umesh, at that time they were near Kengeri I think some 60 Km away. I picked the call and told them please come and pick me, I just the told then to come near Marathalli circle from there I'll guide you to my house, so Nithin suggested me to wash your face dont sleep again. I did as he told me to by the time they could reach Marathalli, I was in sleep AGAIN!!. Hence we shifted our house the nobody knew the exact location. So Morning i got up around like 9:45 am, had some 35 missed call and a very cute message from Umesh "Maga Sorry le we are leavin now. V waited for half an hour near circle . Leavin now:( Have fun:)"

Macha,
Forget it, the incident has saddened us too. it would have been great if u had come with us.
It is great injustice to Smarty who planned all this in spite of his busy schedule. what pained all of us was the manner in which you dozed even after receiving our call from vijayanagar.
Consequently we had to travel 70kms extra without even picking you up.No need to be sorry, but be careful in future.
There are few things to say though:
1. if u had planned to come in the evening, u could have atleast stepped out in the rain, stopping at several places on the way.
2. we had no clue whether u were coming with us until u called up that night. ur phone remained switched off till midnight.
3. even after u received the call while we were in vijayanagar, why dint u put the phone in general mode or set an alarm for yourself?
4. u could have messaged ur address to us when we told u that we are on the way.
5.Finally why dint u choose to come to marathahalli flyover instead of telling us to come into the layout?

if u can find answers for these, you will know why umi sent such a cute msg.

@Suj, its okay maga, $#!t happens. It wud have been more fun and less scotch for us if u had come :)

Macha, lets write a post on the upcoming trip to Smarty's place.

Nobody knows the places/activities that we will go to..one thing is for sure-this will be one helluva of a trip that will be worth remembering throughout our life, i really hope that it exceeds even that-may be a life changing trip...ok,lets cut the story.

It will be 5 days of wandering in the wild,lots of booze, 5 friends in a Maruti 800, trekking,river rafting and what not. So lets get started tonight on Rajahamsa.
